EURLs joint-training session on measurement uncertainty

From 20 October 2022 to 21 October 2022

We would like to invite you to participate in the training course on measurement uncertainty jointly organised between the EURLs for Campylobacter, Coagulase Positive Staphylococci and Listeria monocytogenes.

This training course will be held at ANSES in Maisons-Alfort, France, 20 and 21 October 2022. It will focus on the implementation of the EN ISO 19036:2019 Microbiology of the food chain — Estimation of measurement uncertainty for quantitative determinations. Please find more information enclosed in the information document.

The EURLs will reimburse the expenses related to travel, accommodation, and subsistence of the selected applicants according to the EU rules. The deadline for application is 26 August 2022.

The EURLs will notify the applicants on acceptance on 2nd September 2022.

If we are not able to host all applicants, we will consider organising the course again next year. In addition, on 14 December 2022, a webinar will be organised by the three EURLs for all NRLs of the networks on the work conducted within the working group on measurement uncertainty (guidance document for EN ISO 19036:2019 and the matrix uncertainty study). More information and the link to the event will be provided closer to the event.
