The EURL organizes Proficiency Tests (PT) on detection and identification of regulated quarantine plant-parasitic nematodes in order to assess and ensure the reliability and accuracy of the analyses carried out by the National Reference Laboratories (NRLs).
Proficiency tests are performed under accreditation according to the ISO 17043 standard.

The European Union Reference Laboratory for Plant Parasitic Nematodes yearly organizes a workshop, especially intended for the National Reference Laboratories (NRLs) in the European Union. The purpose of these workshops is to inform the participants about the activities of the EURL, to present and discuss the results of Proficiency Tests (PT), to present and discuss scientific research projects and to exchange information on the European Union legislation, methods, and other relevant subjects.

Opening EURL for Plant Parasitic Nematodes website

Welcome to the website of the European Union Reference Laboratory for plant parasitic nematodes.

The consortium between ANSES (France) and ILVO (Belgium) is designated as the European Union Reference Laboratory for pest of plant on nematodes.

You will find on the site all the activities of the EURL and information related to the nematology. It is accessible to all members of the network. EURL activities officially start on the 1st of August 2019.
